Myofascial Release

Myofascial release is a hands-on technique we use with our patients that involves applying varying amounts of pressure to connective tissue to achieve an increase in motion and a decrease in pain. Restrictions in the muscle and fascia can be caused by traumatic incidents, stress or dysfunction of muscles over time, or post-operatively. We look at each patient individually to determine if there are myofascial restrictions present and incorporate it into the plan of care when appropriate. All of our Therapists on staff are experienced in providing myofascial and soft/deep tissue manual therapy to assist in the rehabilitation recovery process.
